I have been following this for a week now.  I find that I can only do 2 of the meals a day and most of the recipes I cut in half.  It's a lot of food and I can't eat it all without feeling sick.  Other than that I think it really good.  I did cut the raw garlic out of the avocado and egg salad because the taste in my mouth is impossible to get rid of. 😊

I have to admit that a red flag went off for me but still is unsure of piecing together a healthy meal plan for vegetarians or pescetarian. I have to admit I wasn’t impressed with the meal plans here on my own account of not liking several of the ingredients. Can you recommend a healthy list that is not in contradiction to health risk for others like me? Thank you.


I think if you halved or quartered the higher net carbs mirepoix components and remember this makes 6 servings, this could be keto adapted. I just wonder if the flavor will get lost. I am trying to stay below 19g of net carbs per day. I will try this, doing everything it takes to keep a serving under 9g and report back. I love the idea of it and it does seem like it would be delicious. Always looking for one pot meals to plan lunches for the week.

When using flax seed in your vegan diet, you can use them for anything from a breading on roasted vegetables, to making even a sweetened or savory porridge. A challenge that you may face is keeping your carbohydrates below 30 grams per day because by nature, these plant-based protein products contain 2-10 grams of carb per serving. But these products are also higher in dietary fiber (aka low-digestible carbs) which has a reduced effect on blood glucose levels (Grabitske, 2008). This may give you a little more flexibility with the number of carbs you can eat while still maintaining ketosis (e.g. up to 50 grams per day), but this will require tracking to be sure.

For the vegetarian daily meal plans, can you swap?  For example, can any breakfast option be combined with any lunch option and any dinner option?  Or do you have to eat the breakfast, lunch and dinner as they are laid out daily.  I would like to mix and match since I don't like some of the options but I am not sure what that does to the daily totals.
