I’m trying a new(ish) tactic, where I build in cheat days, trying to keep my metabolism guessing a little.  On those cheat days, I eat whatever I want without overstuffing myself and I drink soda, too if I want to.  That helps me feel like I’m not totally depriving myself the whole time.  I can already tell that I do eat so much healthier as an overall whole, than I used to.  I was getting into some seriously bad habits of snacking on sweets, carbs and soda any time I wanted to, without thinking of the consequences.  The only problem was that those wants were getting more and more frequent.  The desire for sugar seemed to be growing, the more I gave myself sugar.

Gardein, MorningStar, Quorn, Boca, Beyond Meat, Lightlife, almost all of them are GREAT for low carb, high fat, high protein meals. I would not be able to do vegetarian keto without fake meat products.
I think if you halved or quartered the higher net carbs mirepoix components and remember this makes 6 servings, this could be keto adapted. I just wonder if the flavor will get lost. I am trying to stay below 19g of net carbs per day. I will try this, doing everything it takes to keep a serving under 9g and report back. I love the idea of it and it does seem like it would be delicious. Always looking for one pot meals to plan lunches for the week.

High-fat dairy - Nutritionists claim milk products are likely the best sources of high-quality protein [4]. That's because milk proteins contains all 9 essential amino acids and are easier to digest than either beef or soy proteins. Just make sure you're going for products higher in fat to make it more keto. Examples include sour cream, cheese, and full-fat yogurt.
According to Brian Wansink, Ph.D., a behavioral scientist and ‘mindless eating’ expert at the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab, people who fill their plate with everything they plan to eat (including dessert) eat about 14 percent less than those who don’t fill it as much but return for second helpings. So to eat less, load up your plate—but only once. To reduce your intake even more, use a smaller plate. Wansink found that subjects who served themselves using smaller dishes ate up to 60 percent less.
Study author Nicholas Rule is an associate professor and Canada Research Chair in Social Perception and Cognition at the University of Toronto. In a release, he explained that they investigated facial adiposity (the amount of fatness in your face) because it is a "robust indicator of one's health." He went on to provide some good news for women. "Women's facial attractiveness may be more sensitive to changes in weight," said Rule. "This just means women attempting to lose weight need to shed slightly fewer pounds than men for people to find them more attractive."
Walking felt like the easiest change to make, so I started going out near my home for just 10 minutes a day on a local trail along a river. Being in nature was key. Gradually, I increased from 10 minutes to 2 hours a day and added hilly hikes on the weekends. While I strolled, I listened to podcasts and soaked up the scenery. My cholesterol and blood pressure are now in healthy ranges—without medication.
